The dove and the retre.

Lira ran outside Sapiro following the dove which she thought was the ivtre or spirit of Ades, the loyal dame of Amihan who was killed during the siege of Lireo by the hathors. When the dove met over the angel butterfly that guided Mira, Lira stopped only to find out she now faces Mira.  Seeing Mira, Lira called Mira by her name and tried to tell her who she was. Mira who thought of turning her back from a creature she does not know cannot recognize was about to go and leave. But Lira sensed, Mira has the memory of her old self when she told her the real Lira does not look like the creature she was now facing. Lira then mentioned things that were only known between the two of them as proof. It was then Mira turned around and ask her in disbelief if it really was her and asked what the hell happened to her. In her own jolly self, Lira tried to explain to Mira what happened to her.

 

Lira’s surprise to Amihan.

But Mira cannot believe Lira that even Amihan, her mother cannot even recognize her. Lira then hold Mira’s hand pull her over back to Sapiro. Lira brought Mira to Amihan’s room to prove to her that her mother does not recognize her anymore.  They get to Amihan’s room where Lira thought of giving Amihan a surprise with Mira’s presence. Amihan was so overwhelmed with joy seeing Mira. And they hugged each other tight. But Amihan’s delight was shortlived upon realizing and telling Mira the risk of her return to Engcantadia now that Hagorn was the king. Mira told Amihan she knows all about it as it was already told to her by Cassiopeia. But Amihan insisted she needs to go back to the human world where it was much safer for her.  Mira insist Amihan need not worry about her but should think more about Lira. Holding Lira’s hand, Mira tried to introduce the creature Lira to Amihan only to be told that her child Lira was long dead when she was still a baby when Pirena killed her so that she could live in her place. Hearing what Amihan told and as Mira was about to insist the truth, Lira stopped Mira and told her that nobody will believe and asked apology from Amihan and requested that she may be excused going out. As Lira got out of Amihan’s room. Amihan thought Danaya might still be awake and will be glad to know Mira’s presence. But Mira insisted and requested Amihan that her presence be kept secret especially to her mother Pirena for she was not yet still ready to see her. Amihan made Mira promise her that she will go back to the human world which Mira did to ease her worries.

The youth of Lireo.

Mira went to Lira’s room and talk to her about her revelations.  Mira insisted that Lira should not just take everything that happened to her. She insisted there must be a way on how to get Lira back to her old self again. She told Lira that Amihan knows she will go back to the human world instead she plans for her and Lira to confront Ether and insist in getting her back to her old self. Lira told Mira it may not be a good idea to confront a demi god like Ether and threatened Mira it might also put her in the same spell that she was now suffering. Although doubtful she might suffer the same fate as Lira, Mira still insist and encourage Lira not to be disheartened and just accept her unlikely fate. Mira kid Lira by soft punching her in her arm as she go complaining that the events that happened were so tiring already.  Mira reminded Lira that nobility runs in her blood and that she should not be weakling.

Before Mira got out Lira’s room, she advised her that if ever she laid off her human-like thinking, that’s the time they can again talk and plan for their next move.  But Lira stopped Mira from going out her room and admits to her that she was really just like any human who think the way they do and that the two of them were raised in a different manner. Lira admits that if she was that courageous as Mira, she can likewise be like one. She told Mira that even though the plan was a reckless one, she intend to proceed in facing Ether with her.  Mira told her to get ready for they will get into battle. Lira thought of having second thoughts and asked Mira if she’s serious about it. Mira, upon hearing the word ‘serious’ which she also heard from Anthony before thought in replying in the same candid way by saying ‘Yes, serious!’ to Lira. And Lira got delighted hearing it as she thought Mira was now as much human-like as she was before. Now having it light, Lira uttered ‘Bonga!’ as she raised Mira’s hand for the ‘appear’ sign. Though puzzled, Mira understood Lira’s human-like side. They went out to get Lira’s sword.

Lira and Mira went to the woods where they thought they could find Ether. They called on Ether and the serpent-like god appeared before them. They’ve confronted Ether and ordered her to return Lira to her old self. Ether was so amused with the two Lireo youth that she thought of scaring and playing with them.  But instead of getting them scared, the two kept on their nasty, child-like acts forcing Ether to give up and vanish to bring them near Evades’ tree of life. Lira recognized the tree and told Mira that the guardian to the tree looked like an onion sprout but with a very bitter attitude. Having described Evades, he appeared before their eyes and told Lira that he was waiting for here for in his dream the lord Emre told him they were coming. And so Lira introduced Mira to Evades. But Mira told Evades that it was not the lord Emre who brought them there Ether. But Evades questioned them if that was really Ether they said who brought them there. And so Evades told them that the lord Emre sometimes changed into something else to test one’s courage, faith and wisdom to overcome his challenges. And Evades concluded that since Lira was there beside the tree of life means she have won the challenge. Mira then asked Evades if she could help Lira get back to her old self. Evades ordered Lira to pick one fruit from the tree of life and eat it.

 

Gods gone crazy.

Somewhere, in an unknown place, the serpent like god Ether confronted Emre whom she thought have disguised as her in order to deal with Lira and Mira leading them to the tree of life guarded by Evades. The 2 gods fought it out with each other. Emre was enraged on how Ether seemed to play around the feelings and fate of the beings he so cherished and ordered Ether to work with Evades in bringing Lira back to her old self again. Ether was so hard headed that she defy Emre’s order forcing the latter to use his sword in castigating her. 

Lira’s destiny.

Lira have chosen well and after eating the fruit, she was transformed back to her old self again. The 2 gods fighting with each other have witnessed Lira’s transformation. But Ether warned Emre that since they let Lira choose the fruit she wanted to eat and not either of them. Whichever fate the fruit that she ate will now be according to what was destined for her hence its up to Lira to decide on her own fate as a result of what fate she has chosen from the fruit of life. Ether suggested to Emre that let Lira alone experienced the challenges brought by the fruit she ate and learn from it as she embark on her destiny.  

The bewitching shine of gold.

Back in Lireo, the bandidos visited the palace to see and pay homage to Hagorn bringing with them precious gold to please him. It was Agane who accommodated them as she told the bandidos that Hagorn was indisposed and recovering from his illness at that time. She suggested to them that if they really wanted to talk to him, they have to go back some other time. Lilasari and Micah witnessed the pouches of gold given by the bandidos to Agane. As Agane was about to leave the palace hall with the pouches given by the bandidos, Lilasari called her. Sensing, Lilasari must have noticed the content of the pouches, she told Lilasari, she has something for the king. Lilasari then grabbed what’s on Agane’s hands and turn it over to Micah. Agane has no recourse but give in with Lilasari. But before Agane walked away, Lilasari butt in a proposal  to her. She asked Agane if she will be on her side if she will be planning something against her king.  Shocked, Agane repeated back the question that Lilasari have uttered.
